Fedoras and Sundresses: Honoring a Vision of Faith, Fellowship, and Empowerment

The upcoming “Fedoras and Sundresses” event represents a heartfelt continuation of a dream inspired by the late Cassandra Cooper — a woman whose vision centered around faith, unity, entrepreneurship, and uplifting women within the community.

Cassandra Cooper believed deeply in the power of women supporting one another while serving God with purpose.

Through the creation of the Women of Endurance ministry, she envisioned a sisterhood rooted in encouragement, resilience, and spiritual growth. Her mission was to create a safe and empowering environment where women could fellowship, discover their gifts, strengthen their confidence, and positively impact the community around them.

Although Cassandra sadly passed away in 2025, shortly after putting her mission statement into motion, her vision did not end with her passing. Instead, the Women of Endurance have chosen to carry her torch forward. Determined to preserve her legacy, her sisters in faith are continuing the work she started by building the very community she dreamed of creating.

The “Fedoras and Sundresses” event is especially meaningful because it marks the first major gathering held in honor of Cassandra Cooper since her passing. It is more than fashion, music, or entertainment — it is a celebration of perseverance, sisterhood, and purpose.

It is proof that one woman’s vision can continue to inspire an entire community long after she is gone.

Guests can expect an evening filled with elegance, positivity, and fellowship.

The event will feature music by DJ Willy, a fashion and comedy show, raffles, appetizers, and opportunities to connect with women dedicated to faith, empowerment, and service. More importantly, attendees will become part of something larger than themselves: a movement built on compassion, encouragement, and community upliftment.

The Women of Endurance organization continues to stand on the principles Cassandra laid out in her mission statement — empowerment, integrity, resilience, and respect. Their goal is not only to honor her memory, but to actively bring her vision to life through action and fellowship.

If you are looking for an evening of inspiration, community connection, and meaningful celebration, consider attending the “Fedoras and Sundresses” event. By showing support, you are helping ensure that Cassandra Cooper’s dream continues to flourish and that her work was not in vain.
