According to a recent article in People Magazine (Nicole Gaudiano, "Hunter Biden's ex-wife Kathleen Buhle describes his addiction, and learning about his affair with his sister-in-law," Jun 1, 2022), Kathleen Buhle, the ex-wife of Hunter Biden, has written a memoir in which she describes the moment she learned of her husband's affair with his sister-in-law, Hallie Biden.
The affair was revealed to Buhle by her family therapist and daughters in 2016, more than a year after Hallie's husband and Joe Biden's son Beau had passed away from a brain tumor. Buhle writes in her memoir "If We Break" that she was "shocked, but not heartbroken" upon learning of the affair, which she says was "so much worse than she could have imagined."

Buhle and Hunter Biden divorced in 2017 after 24 years of marriage, and Hunter is now remarried and facing a Justice Department investigation into his business dealings. Buhle says she "couldn't be of any help" in any investigation, as she had "kept her head so deeply buried in the sand on their finances."
