Musk said that the company had submitted most of the paperwork needed for a human clinical trial to the FDA at a show and tell event on Wednesday.

He revealed Neuralink Corp. is developing implants that can go into the spinal cord and potentially restore movement in someone who has paralysis and contains "an ocular implant meant to improve or restore human vision."

Musk added, "as miraculous as that may sound, we are confident that it is possible to restore full-body functionality to someone with a severed spinal cord." He revealed the first clinical trial on a human are expected to start in six months. NEED it or KEEP it!?
