Las Vegas, February 11, 2024 — The anticipation for the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show reached its peak as Usher takes the center stage in Las Vegas today. The iconic singer headlines the event, promising football fans a performance unlike any other.




The lineup for the halftime show is nothing short of spectacular, featuring a diverse array of talents. Alongside Usher, Shaheem Sanchez will captivate audiences with an American Sign Language rendition of the halftime performance, adding an inclusive touch to the event. Initially slated to join the festivities, Tiësto, the first in-game DJ for the Super Bowl, withdrew from performing due to a family matter, leaving the spotlight solely on the scheduled acts.


In a statement preceding his performance, Usher expressed his gratitude, calling the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl “an honor of a lifetime.” The eight-time Grammy winner conveyed his excitement, vowing to deliver a show that exceeds expectations. Reflecting on his journey to the Super Bowl stage, Usher acknowledged the historical significance of the moment, recognizing the African American performers who paved the way before him.


Adding to the pregame excitement, renowned country music icon Reba McEntire will deliver a stirring rendition of the national anthem, marking her debut at the Super Bowl. Joining her, rapper Post Malone will serenade the crowd with “America the Beautiful,” while Andra Day will uplift spirits with her rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” often referred to as the Black national anthem. Each performance will feature American Sign Language interpretations, ensuring accessibility and inclusion for all viewers.
