TikToker Advocates for "Adults Only" Suburbs

In recent news, a TikToker under the handle "Baby Soja" has sparked a debate after advocating for the creation of "adults only" suburbs. In a TikTok video, Soja stated that she is tired of encountering kids everywhere she goes and feels that there should be a place for people like her who simply do not like kids to live in peace and quiet. Soja specifically mentions a recent experience at a community pool where she was disturbed by kids jumping and screaming in the lap lane.

Many TikTokers responded to Soja's video, with some saying that she was once a child herself and should acknowledge her own misbehavior as a youngster. Others suggested that she move into a retirement village. However, the legality of moving into a retirement community depends on the laws in the area where Soja resides (Melbourne, Australia).

The idea of "adults only" suburbs raises a number of questions and ethical concerns. While there are certainly housing complexes that have age restrictions, it is up to each individual facility to decide what those ages are. Moreover, some argue that the idea of "controlling" kids is not about limiting their fun, but rather teaching them proper etiquette in public settings.

Regardless of one's personal stance on the issue, it is important to remember that everyone has a right to their own opinions and beliefs. However, it is also important to consider the implications of those beliefs and the impact they may have on others.
